Nintendo has released the version 1.4.0 update for Super Mario Galaxy 2 on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Super Mario Galaxy 2 update 1.4.0 is the game’s most significant post-launch update, as it adds a new story to the in-game storybook. Players can access and read the new story by clearing any galaxy and earning a Power Star after the Final Chapter is available.
The new update also improves the gameplay experience with more bug fixes, though the exact bug fixes that were made weren’t specified.
