Shueisha Games and SIGONO have released a new update for narrative adventure game OPUS: Prism Peak featuring a new save anywhere feature, Steam Cloud support, and more new features and content.
Read up on patch notes for the new OPUS: Prism Peak update below, via Steam:
[Manual Save Feature]
-
Save Anywhere: You can now manually save your progress at any Sacred Firebowl you find in the game.
-
Load Game UI: We’ve added a new “Load Game” screen to the Main Menu.
-
Save Migration: We’ve moved away from chapter-based autosaves. Your old chapter saves will be automatically converted into manual save files.
[Steam Cloud Support]
-
Sync Your Progress: You can now sync your saves across PC, Mac, and Steam Deck.
-
Conflict Alerts: We’ve added a prompt to let you know if there’s a save overlap, so you can choose whether or not to overwrite.
[Second Playthrough Enhancements]
-
Keep Your Progress: Your photo achievements and Notebook records will now carry over to your second playthrough.
-
Story Segment Selection: Once you’ve finished the game, you’ll unlock the ability to pick and play specific story segments.
-
Chapter Jump: We’ve added a new option to the Main Menu so you can jump straight to any chapter you like.
[New Afterstory in the Credits]
-
Bonus Illustration: We’ve added a brand-new illustration to the credits. This afterstory piece adds a little more detail to the ending.
[QoL: Anti-Missable Mechanism]
-
Double Confirmation: In spots where an interaction moves you to the next scene, we’ve added a double-confirmation prompt. This is to make sure you don’t hit a “point of no return” by mistake.
OPUS: Prism Peak is available now for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, Mac, and PC via Steam.
