Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Captain Majima Content Drop Launches April 29

A Captain Majima Festival will also be held.

SEGA has announced that the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Captain Majima Content Drop will be available for free on April 29 at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET featuring DLC character Captain Majima, the new Goromaru vehicle, and special emotes and sounds.

In addition, the Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Captain Majima Festival will be held from April 30 at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET to May 3 at at 4:59 p.m. PT / 7:59 p.m. ET, allowing players to earn decals, gadgets, and more for earning festival points. A Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Steam Free Weekend will coincide with the event through May 4 at 10:00 a.m. PT / 1:00 p.m. ET.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam. The Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Season Pass is available now for $29.99. 

The Season Pass includes the following collaborative content:

  • Minecraft
    • Playable characters: Steve, Alex, and Creeper
    • Minecraft-themed course and vehicle
  • SpongeBob SquarePants
    • Playable characters: SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick
    • SpongeBob SquarePants-themed course and vehicle
  • PAC-MAN
    • Playable characters: Pac-Man and rival ghosts
    • PAC-MAN-themed course and vehicle
  • Mega Man Pack
    • Playable characters Mega Man and Proto Man
    • Mega Man-themed course and vehicle
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
  • Avatar Legends
