007 First Light Reveals ‘Rules of Spycraft’ Trailer

IO Interactive has released a new trailer for 007 First Light, titled “Rules of Spycraft,” which showcases more of the game’s mechanics. It releases on May 27 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on May 27, and for Switch 2 in summer 2026.

The trailer provides a preview of how Bond will need to operate as a spy. He must blend in by bluffing his way through enemy territory, come prepared with various weapons and gadgets, and improvise by using his environment as a weapon. The trailer also reveals that, much like Hitman, there will be several post-launch content additions. Check out the “Rules of Spycraft” 007 First Light trailer below:

Recently, IO Interactive released the game’s title track from Lana Del Rey, aptly named “First Light.” Lana Del Rey joins the long list of beloved musicians who have created tracks for the franchise. Some of these include Paul McCartney, A-ha, Tina Turner, Garbage, Madonna, Chris Cornell of Soundgarden, Alicia Keys and Jack White, Adele, Sam Smith, and Billie Eilish. Composer David Arnold, who has worked on several James Bond films like Casino RoyaleQuantum of Solace, and The World is Not Enough, also composed the First Light theme. Recently, IO Interactive announced that it has delayed the Nintendo Switch 2 version of 007 First Light to later in the summer. Additionally, it revealed that a limited edition DualSense controller for the game will release alongside the game’s launch on May 27. Pre-orders for the 007 First Light DualSense controller, which costs $84.99, are now live on the PlayStation Direct website.
