Nioh 3 Releasing New Free Update on April 27

Team Ninja has announced that a new free update for Nioh 3 will release on April 27. The update will feature new high-difficulty Battle Scrolls and more.

In a new message, producer Kohei Shibata outlines the update and speaks more about the game’s success, stating “We would first like to express our gratitude to the many players around the world who have taken the time to play Nioh 3 since its release. We are currently hard at work developing future updates and DLC for the game.” The full list of features that will be implemented in the new update are as follows:

  • Addition of multiple high-difficulty Battle Scrolls (side missions)
  • Addition of the Stone of Penance, which increases accessory +Values and rarities in exchange for higher difficulties
  • Addition of new skills as rewards for completing selected high-difficulty Battle Scroll missions
  • Balance adjustments to enhance certain Graces

Nioh 3 is available now for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Final Weapon reviewed Nioh 3 and awarded it a 4/5 score, noting that the game offers some of the best action and boss fights in the Nioh series.
