CTW Inc. has announced a browser game adaptation of the Shakugan no Shana light novel and anime series. Pre-registration for the game, titled Shakugan no Shana: Blaze Edge, is now live.
The game will be free-to-play with in-app purchases on G123. It will feature main characters Shana and Yuji Sakai. Viz Media publishes the original light novel, which initially started releasing in 2002. It featured illustrations by illustrator Noizi Itō. Takahashi published the 22nd and last of the main novels in 2011, the Shakugan no Shana SIII short story collection book in 2012, and the final fan guidebook in 2013. Viz published two novels for the series in 2007. Further, the anime adaptation is streaming on Crunchyroll.
