Zynga has announced Borderlands Mobile, a new mobile-exclusive entry in the franchise. A playtest for the game is available now on iOS.
Neither Zynga or Gearbox officially announced anything on its social media pages pertaining to the game. Currently, only one vault hunter is available to choose, but more will release at a later date. It is unknown whether or not the game will be available on Android devices. The App Store describes Borderlands Mobile as follows:

The most recent mainline entry in the series, Borderlands 4, is available now PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. A new story pack, “Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned,” is also available, and features C4SH, the first DLC vault hunter for the game, and the new story pack.
