Bluepoch Games have announced that version 3.4 of Reverse: 1999, titled “Spring Unending,” will release on April 16. The update commemorates the game’s 2.5-year anniversary.
As part of the anniversary, players can earn up to 130 free pulls, including 100 pulls tied to a selectable 6-star character via the limited-time banner “The Snow of Dushuo.” The banner will last from April 4 to May 28. The new update also adds Paper Heron, a limited 6-star character described as a “wandering Daoist swordswoman” who seeks to restore balance to the world. A second 6-star character will release in Phase 2 of “Spring Unending,” named Cheng Heguang.
The following are some of the other new features of the update:
- 100 free summons (10 free summons daily, up to 100 free pulls total)
- A free garment for Noire
- A Selectable Artifice system, allowing players to choose high-tier equipment.
- Discount coupons for in-game cosmetics (save 450 Crystal Drops on garments, and a 50% discount on Miracle Mart purchases).
- Three redeemable codes granting additional resources
- Expanded Gameplay and Multiplayer Features
- Pre-Storm Protocol (Updated Mode): Survival and exploration gameplay returns with new characters, progression systems, and rewards, including free 4-star arcanist Reed.
- Message Board System: Players can now leave tips and guidance for others
- Fruits of Practice System: Unlock buffs through gameplay progression
- Musae’s Arcade (New Multiplayer Mode): A party-style experience where players can create rooms, compete in mini-games, and earn rewards including exclusive cosmetics.
- New Euphoria upgrades for certain characters
- New Photomancy content for Tooth Fairy and A Knight
- Limited-time return of Version 2.5 “Showdown in Chinatown”
- New EP releases (launching April 18 and April 24)
- Full Version 3.4 soundtrack (releasing May 4)
