SEGA has released the SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance SEGA Villains Stage DLC featuring three new bosses: Goro Majima from the Yakuza / Like a Dragon franchise, Death Adder from Golden Axe and Dr. Eggman from Sonic the Hedgehog. The version 1.2.0 update for SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance is also available now alongside the SEGA Villains Stage DLC with a new Hardcore Mode.
The SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance SEGA Villains Stage DLC includes:
- Three new bosses
- Five new stages
- Two new Boss Rush modes
- Three new ninpo
- Three new outfits
- Six new music tracks
Players can purchase the SEGA Villains Stage DLC as a standalone item for $9.99 or as an upgrade pack for $11.99.

SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance Update 1.2.0 Patch Notes
“Hardcore” Mode:
Enjoy an ultra high-difficulty mode featuring various adjustments to gameplay. In addition to changes to damage taken, health regeneration, and enemy placement, new attack patterns have been added for certain bosses. This mode can only be selected when starting a New Game.
Combat System Adjustment Features:
You can now adjust attack animation duration, flash effects when hit, the intensity of camera shake during combat, and the display of character outlines.
Added Tutorial View Feature:
You can now review tutorials that have been displayed in the game so far.
Map Improvement:
We have expanded the viewable area when opening the map within a stage to improve visibility.

Fixed a bug where Musashi’s position was displayed incorrectly on the map.
SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam for $29.99, and a free demo is also available now. A Digital Deluxe Edition is available for $39.99 featuring the Season Pass and SEGA Villains Stage DLC, the Starter Pack (Ghost Outfit, Medic Lite Amulet, and in-game currency), a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack.
