Dragonwell Publishing will release the official novelization of Nihon Falcom’s action RPG Ys IX: Monstrum Nox on April 21, and pre-orders are available now on Amazon and ys-books.com. Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana novelization author Anna Kashina returns as the author of Monstrum Nox.
e-Book (Kindle) and physical hardcover versions of the Ys IX: Monstrum Nox novelization release on April 21 for $7.95 and $34.95, respectively. The softcover version will release in summer 2026 for $19.95.

When Adol Christin arrives in the historical city of Balduq, famous for its ancient fortress serving as a high security prison, he doesn’t expect to get arrested at the city gate by the prison warden himself.
