During AnimeJapan 2026, the staff of the TV anime adaptation of Byū’s Let’s Go Kaikigumi manga series confirmed the anime’s July 5 premiere. A new trailer was also revealed alongside new cast and staff members.
The Let’s Go Kaikigumi anime will run on TBS and 27 affiliated channels, starting July 5 at 4:30 p.m. JST.
Tasuku Hatanaka voices the unnamed protagonist alongside Ruriko Aoki as Mechako and Shigeru Chiba as the narrator. Mayumi Shintani joins the cast as Cursed Doll.
Yutaka Hirata directs the anime at C-Station, Mutsumi Ito is supervising and writing the series scripts, and Yoshimitsu Yamashita is the character designer. Uketsu, an article writer on the Omocoro web service and author The Strange House novel and manga, is working on the anime’s production. Uketsu is also credited for the ending theme song.
