Pony Canyon has revealed a new trailer and key visual for the TV anime adaptation of Hekiru Hikawa’s Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life (Hanaori-san wa Tensei Shitemo Kenka ga Shitai) manga. The trailer confirms that the Hanaori-san Still Wants to Fight in the Next Life anime will premiere in July 2026, and several new cast members were revealed.
The main cast of the anime includes Jun Fukuyama as Ryusei Narukami and Akira Sekine as Meteor Hanaori.

Pony Canyon describes the anime’s story as follows:
The story follows Ryūsei Narukami, a shut-in who spends his days playing games, but who had once been a Demon King in another world. It also follows Meteor Hanaori, the former hero who defeated him and is now a high school girl. This romantic comedy between a former Demon King and a former Hero is now set to be brought to life as an anime.
Hikawa launched the manga in Kodansha’s Morning two magazine in August 2021, and the manga’s eighth volume released on September 22, 2025 in Japan. Seven Seas Entertainment will launch release the omnibus version of the manga in October 2026.
