Supergiant Games has announced that Hades II will release on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Game Pass, and PlayStation 5 on April 14. The game initially released on September 25, 2025 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.

A new trailer has released, announcing the upcoming port for the beloved roguelite and Game of the Year 2025 nominee. Check out the trailer confirming that Hades II will release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox Game Pass below:

Final Weapon reviewed Hades II and gave it a 4.5 out of 5 score, describing it as “a benchmark for the genre. The story, characters, writing, and art direction exceed the expectations set by the original Hades. Further, the new gameplay mechanics and the addition of a second area make for a game that can keep you occupied for dozens of hours without ever getting boring. While the ending is extremely disappointing, I can confidently recommend Hades II to everyone, regardless of whether you’ve played other entries in the genre or not.”

One of the most recent updates to Hades II added modifications to the game’s true ending, as well as some new quality-of-life features. Lastly, the Steam page has an overview of the game:

The first-ever sequel from Supergiant Games builds on the best aspects of the original god-like rogue-like dungeon crawler in an all-new, action-packed, endlessly replayable experience rooted in the Underworld of Greek myth and its deep connections to the dawn of witchcraft.

As the immortal Princess of the Underworld, you’ll explore a bigger, deeper mythic world, vanquishing the forces of the Titan of Time with the full might of Olympus behind you, in a sweeping story that continually unfolds through your every setback and accomplishment.
