PLAYISM and Cyber Space Biotope have released the version 2.0 update for Million Depth, which is available now on PC via Steam. The update Status Up Tiles, Dimension Over Mode, and more.
The new features in the update are as follows:
Dimension Over Mode
New mode: Dimension Over Mode - Play through the α, β, and γ routes all at once after unlocking the true ending. Your HP and battery carries over between timelines.
- New attack patterns for the true boss
Speedrunning
New features: speedrun timer display and record log - Elite enemy spawn animations are now skippable
Crafting
New feature: status up tiles - Tweak your designs every run to create differently shaped weapons depending on the placement of tiles, which will now be random every time.
- D-pad support added, smoother controls
- Highest damage is now always shown on the screen
- Blocks that deal the highest damage are now highlighted in a color that changes depending on attack power
Other
New title screen added, can be switched from original screen (post-true ending only)
Million Depth initially released on September 16, 2025 for PC via Steam. Final Weapon reviewed the game, giving it a 4/5. We described it as “another great example of the malleability of roguelike and roguelite games. Instead of following the same cliches as other titles in the genre, it chooses to follow the paths laid by visual novels and real-time strategy games to great success.
The story is compelling thanks to a charming cast of characters and three different timelines to dive into, and the gameplay is addictive because of the abundance of unique mechanics to unravel. While there are some issues with story progression, if you’re a fan of roguelike games, then Million Depth is a must-buy for you.”
