Where Winds Meet Releases Hexi Expansion Chapter 2: Liangzhou on April 2

NetEase Games and Everstone Studio has announced that the Hexi Expansion Chapter 2: Liangzhou will release in Where Winds Meet on April 2. It adds a new region, story content, a new weapon, and more. 

Liangzhou is a massive fortified city, hidden in the snowy mountains. It is available alongside two new stories. For starters, there is “Liangzhou Melody,” which follows a young musician’s search for a hometown he’s never known. The second is “Paper Moon,” which reveals showcases a conflict in a Buddhist hall between two individuals. The update also adds a new sect, Raging Tides, a new weapon, the Heng Blade, as well as new campaigns and bosses. The free addition to the Hexi Expansion is the second out of three, with the third set to release at a later date.

Lastly, Where Winds Meet is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store worldwide. Here’s an overview of the game, via Everstone Studio:

Where Winds Meet boasts a vast, intricately crafted open world filled with life, featuring over 20 distinct regions to explore. The game harmoniously integrates history with the imaginative essence of the Wuxia world. With more than 10,000 unique NPCs, each with their own personalities and responses, players can shape their interactions, turning characters into trusted allies or sworn enemies based on their choices.

The game offers players the opportunity to master over 40 unique Martial Mystic Arts and an arsenal of weapons, including Spears, Swords, Dual Blades, Glaive, Umbrella, and Fans, and unlock distinctive martial arts skills, including Acupuncture Hitting, Lion’s Roar, Merciful Picking, and Tai Chi.
