Square Enix has released the version 1.0.2.0 update for Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake with some notable adjustments and changes to both games. Specifically, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake update 1.0.2.0 adjusts the way the Dragon Quest I protagonist’s attributes change when leveling up with the “Dragon Quest” and “Draconian Quest” difficulties, and the ship is now faster in Dragon Quest II. More “Traveler’s Tips” were added, and a bug involving save data from Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake was also fixed.

Lastly, Dragon Quest I & II HD-2D Remake is available now for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store. The remake offers new content in both Dragon Quest I and II, including new scenarios, dungeons, enemies, and the seabed area, where the city of Almeha and other intriguing findings await.
