TMS Entertainment have released the creditless opening sequence for BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai alongside the premiere of the anime series on Netflix. Rock band WANIMA performs the opening theme song “Furuboko,” accompanied by stunning visuals and scenes from the BAKI-DOU anime in the creditless sequence.
“I grew up reading and watching BAKI from a young age, captivated by its world beyond common sense and its many iconic scenes, often reenacting them with my friends,” said WANIMA. “For the Musashi Miyamoto arc, I wrote this song by overlapping the idea that ‘one’s way of life itself is a battle’ with the feeling of continuing to stand up, even after being completely beaten down. I’m truly happy and grateful to be involved in this work.”
Singer-songwriter Novel Core performs the ending theme song “Mountain Top” for BAKI-DOU.
