Inti Creates has announced Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 1+2 Dual Collection, a new collection featuring Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX and Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2 with all previously released DLC, a new Endless Battle mode, and balance adjustments. Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 1+2 Dual Collection will launch on July 9 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam.
Previously, Inti Creates president and CEO Takuya Aizu teased that the company is preparing new developments for the Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX series. These “surprising” new developments for Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX will be revealed in the second half of 2026.
Gunvolt Chronicles fans can catch up on the series by trying out the recently released “Azure Striker Gunvolt CONNECT iX” update for Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced. The update adds the CONNECT iX mode for Azure Striker Gunvolt 3, allowing players to play as Copen from Gunvolt Chronicles: Luminous Avenger iX 2. Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced is available now for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5.
Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced launched on July 24, 2025, worldwide as a complete collection featuring Azure Striker Gunvolt 1 through 3 with all available DLC for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The updated collection includes polished gameplay and adjustments, updated and improved music, and additional content that wasn’t present in the original release. For example, previously separate items, including voice drams, are now included in-game via the new Library Mode.
