The staff of the upcoming anime adaptation of of Enju’s Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods (Kami no Niwatsuki Kusunoki-tei) light novel series revealed that Miyu Irino will perform the anime’s opening theme song “Odoroki no Ko (Child of Surprise).” Yuki Ozaki from Galileo Galilei wrote and composed the opening theme song.
Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods will premiere in April 2026.
The cast of the anime includes:

- Minako Kotobuki as Torika
- Shinnosuke Tokudome as Seri
- Makoto Koichi as Utsugi
- Yūichirō Umehara as Saiga Harima
- Yoshiki Nakajima as Fūjin
- Daiki Kobayashi as Raijin
Sekijuu Sekino directs the anime at studio JUVENAGE. Ryō Yamauchi is the assistant director, Yūji Kobayashi oversees the series scripts. Yūko Inoue is the character designer, and R.O.N composes the music.

Enju Kusunoki’s Garden of Gods novel launched on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in April 2021, followed by its serialization on Kakuyomu in December of the same year. The third volume of the light novel series releases on November 11. What’s more, Akira Anzai launched the manga adaptation on Kadokawa’s ComicWalker website in November 2021.
Lastly, Yen Press publishes the light novels in English and describes it as follows:
Deep in the countryside, Minato Kusunoki is left in charge of a terrifying house overflowing with evil spirits—or at least it was, until his extraordinary ability cleared them all out!
Instead, a procession of unique and peculiar gods is drawn to the comfort of the purified Kusunoki residence, and Minato spends his days relaxing in the company of his spiritual neighbors. What else lies in store for Minato as he lives peacefully surrounded by gods?
