LEVEL-5 has announced that the Orion & Lumen DLC update for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road will launch on February 25.
The Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road Orion & Lumen DLC update is described as follows:
“The next grand stage awaits Sonny Wright (Asuto Inamori) and his friends: the Football Frontier International! But mysterious footballers known as the Disciples of Orion are looming on the horizon…”
Previously, LEVEL-5 released the Ares & Fabled Seed update for Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road on January 28. The Ares & Fabled Seed update introduced new features and the opening of the Ares Route in Chronicle Mode. Players can expect “a blazing football drama about boys and girls striving for the very top.” LEVEL-5 also distributed the “Fabled Seed,” a special item that lets players upgrade one character of choice to the Fabled rarity.
What’s more, LEVEL-5 CEO Akihiro Hino revealed that he’s begun work on the sequel to Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road, and development for new mobile game Inazuma Eleven: Cross, is underway with Aiming. Inazuma Eleven: Cross includes simulation gameplay with command-based controls and an original story with a new protagonist, who becomes a coach and builds their own team. Players don’t control each player individually but instead act as a coach who determines the outcome based on team customization and in-game decisions.
Matches can be played automatically, and player data from Inazuma Eleven: Cross will be compatible with the upcoming Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road sequel. A closed beta test for Inazuma Eleven: Cross began on January 29 (JST) in Japan, and it was limited to only 20,000 users in the region.
