Sunsoft, Clouded Leopard Entertainment, and Red Art Games have revealed physical editions for the remaster of classic 1990 PC Engine side-scrolling action game City Hunter, which is coming to Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on February 26 worldwide. There will be numerous new features included with this updated release.
Physical copies of the City Hunter game will be sold on September 17 for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 on the Red Art Games official store, and there will also be Deluxe Edition and “XYZ Edition” copies. Pre-orders are available now.

The City Hunter game is inspired by the first season of Sunrise’s anime, following Ryo Saeba in an original side story. This new version of SUNSOFT’s game featuring new Hard and Enhanced modes, numerous quality of life features, and expanded language support, including English, French, Italian, German and Spanish. What’s more, TM Network’s “Get Wild” ending theme song for the anime has been added to the in-game music player.
