Tokyo-based publisher/developer MAGI Inc. and developer Neotro have announced that daughter raising simulator Magical Princess will launch in spring 2026 for PC via Steam. In addition to the spring 2026 release window announcement, a new update for the Magical Princess Steam demo is now available is available with some new outfits and fixes.

Here are the patch notes for the Magical Princess demo update:

Today, we released a demo update (Ver. 0.9.0). We’ve added improvements to the save system, which was one of the most-requested features, along with new outfits and more.

New outfits for your daughter

We’ve added two new outfits: “Knightly Formal Wear” and “Eastern Dress.” These outfits can be obtained from the in-game clothing shop. (Please note: in the full release, the timing for obtaining these outfits will be different.)

Save system improvements

Previously, you could save mid-month, but only the state at the beginning of the month would actually be stored. With this update, your progress at the moment you save mid-month will now be preserved correctly.

Various adjustments and fixes

We’ve made balance adjustments, fixed bugs, and corrected translation text to improve overall play comfort.

In the demo, players experience the first six months in-game of the player’s daughter’s life after enrolling at the magical academy with some limited raising and interaction systems. Save data from the Magical Princess demo does not transfer to the full game. The full game will feature a complete story from childhood to graduation “and beyond,” with various branching paths and endings. Magical Princess will support English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese language options at launch as well.
