Sony Interactive Entertainment and Sucker Punch have announced that Ghost of Yōtei Legends will launch on March 10 for free with the launch of Ghost of Yōtei patch 1.5. Serving as the successor to Ghost of Tsushima Legends, Ghost of Yōtei Legends is described as an “online cooperative multiplayer mode, up to four players, where players can team up with friends to challenge monstrous, supernatural enemies across multiple gameplay modes.”
Ghost of Yōtei launched on October 2, 2025 for PlayStation 5, starting at $69.99. The Ghost of Yōtei Original Soundtrack by composer Toma Otowa is available on various music distribution services, including Spotify and Apple Music.

Set 300 years after the critically acclaimed Ghost of Tsushima, Ghost of Yōtei is a standalone experience set in 1600s rural Japan. The story follows a haunted, lone mercenary named Atsu. Sixteen years after her family’s death, Atsu’s quest across Ezo brings her to unexplored lands in search of a gang of six outlaws, but she finds much more than vengeance.
