Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic Announced for Nintendo Switch and VR

Steel Wool Studios has announced that Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic will release soon on Nintendo Switch and VR devices. Physical copies for the former will be available, courtesy of iam8bit. 

The physical edition of Secret of the Mimic on Nintendo Switch will cost $39.99 and include a 12”x18” fold-out poster and a download code for the soundtrack. It will start shipping on July 3, 2026. Check out the trailer for the Nintendo Switch edition of the game below:

Currently, Steel Wool has not yet confirmed which VR devices Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic will be available on. However, it will likely be available on both PlayStation VR2 and SteamVR. It will reveal more details about the upcoming version of the game in the coming months leading up to its launch in Spring 2026. Check out the trailer for the VR version of Secret of the Mimic:

Lastly, Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The Steam page describes the game as follows:
