RPG Maker Festival 2026 Begins with RPG Maker MZ Free Week

A special broadcast event will be held on Maker's Day.

RPG Maker Festival 2026 has begun, and Gotcha Gotcha Games is celebrating with a free week of RPG Maker MZ, which lasts until February 16 at 10:00 a.m. PST. There are also big sales that RPG Maker fans and newcomers can take advantage of in honor of this year’s event theme, “Not just playing. Now it’s your turn to create!” 

What’s more, the RPG Maker 4 Graphic Asset Pack, a version of the RPG Maker 4 DLC for RPG Maker MZ, will be available for free on the official RPG Maker store through Monday, February 23 at 7:00 p.m. PST.

Here are the sales that fans can expect during RPG Maker Festival 2026:

  • RPG Maker MV: 93% OFF on Steam
  • ACTION GAME MAKER: 30% OFF on Steam and the RPG Maker Official Store
  • RPG Maker MZ × ACTION GAME MAKER: Extra 10% OFF the discounted price, available on Steam
  • ACTION GAME MAKER × Vampire Survivors: Extra 10% OFF the discounted price, available on Steam

The Nintendo eShop on Switch are also holding sales on RPG Maker-related titles.

What’s more, a special broadcast event commemorating Maker’s Day will be held on February 15 at 3:00 a.m. PST on YouTube. The Japanese version of the broadcast will feature influential Japanese guests like Nichijo-Gumi (2.5M YT subscribers) member Shinigami, veteran Nico Nico streamer and official instructor for RPG Maker MV, Max, and Minuhinome, the developer of Heavy Spoilers RPG: The true identity of the final enemy is the hero’s father. The English version of the event will be held simultaneously, hosted by popular bilingual creators HighGai and J-mon.
