DMM Games, Shiravune, and AQUAPLUS have released a new update for the PC (Steam) version of crossover fighting game AQUAPAZZA: Aquaplus Dream Match with support for Steam Offline Mode. This means that players can now play AQUAPAZZA: Aquaplus Dream Match without an internet connection, though Network Play will obviously be disabled in this mode. What’s more, control hints were improved, and keyboard controls are now configurable.

Patch notes for the AQUAPAZZA: Aquaplus Dream Match update can be read below:

  • The game may now be played offline. Enabling Steam Offline Mode will allow AQUAPAZZA to be launched without an Internet connection. Please note that the Network Play function is not available in this mode.
  • Control hints have been improved. An issue that caused all control hints to appear as “-” on some systems has been addressed.
  • The game’s keyboard controls are now configurable. Press F5 from the Controls tab of the Settings menu in order to switch from Gamepad to Keyboard Configuration. Then, press the displayed Call Partner (Decide) key for either player (P1 or P2) to customize that player’s controls. Press F5 again to leave this menu.
Several additional new hotkeys are also available in this menu.
F6: Remove the current key binding for the selected action.
    F7: Restore default settings.
    F8: Finalize settings.
  • Pressing F5 will now toggle the microphone ON or OFF during Network Play, either during battle or on the Character Select screen before the match begins. Please use this functionality if you find the mic unexpectedly active during an online match.
  • Fixed an issue that caused some character names to incorrectly appear in Japanese.
  • Implemented various other fixes and adjustments.

AQUAPAZZA: Aquaplus Dream Match released on September 25, 2025 for Steam in English.
