Experience the game that brought Commandos-style stealth strategy back to modern audiences
Set against the backdrop of Japan’s Edo period, Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun is a stealth strategy game that perfected the classic “Commandos-style” formula and brought it back to modern audiences.
You command a small team of deadly specialists, each with a distinct toolkit. From the agile ninja Hayato to the sniper Takuma, the trap-setting street kid Yuki, the samurai Mugen, and the master-of-disguise Aiko, each character brings unique skills that you must combine with wit and careful planning to complete each mission.
Beyond their abilities, every member of the team has their own background and personal stakes. Over the course of the campaign the group’s relationships evolve, turning tense alliances into trust, and delivering a strong, character-driven story that’s as memorable as the gameplay.
Every mission is a stunning, hand-crafted sandbox of patrol routes, sightlines, and timing: sneak through castles, monasteries, and forest camps, distract guards, set traps, poison targets, or avoid confrontation entirely.
But success isn’t about reflexes: It’s about planning, observation, and executing the perfect multi-character strategy play in the shadows.
