KILLER INN to Host ‘Free Stay WEEKEND’ Event Ahead of Early Access Launch

Square Enix and Tactic Studios will be hosting a “Free Stay WEEKEND” event for multiplayer murder mystery action game KILLER INN from Friday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET until Sunday, February 9 at 1:59 p.m. PT / 4:59 p.m. ET on Steam. During Free Stay WEEKEND, KILLER INN players have one last chance to play the game for free before the Steam Early Access launch on February 12 for PC.

KILLER INN players who participates in the Free Stay WEEKEND, as well as the previous Closed Beta Tests, will receive a special weapon skin and nameplate banner upon the release of Early Access. Before then, players are encouraged to join the official KILLER INN Discord channel for a live developer talk on Thursday, February 5, at 7:00 p.m. PT / 10:00 p.m. ET. 

As previously announced, the Steam Early Access version of KILLER INN costs $9.99 and will operate as a live service game just like the full release, and the price will increase after the Early Access period ends. 

Some in-game purchase options will be available at Early Access launch, but there will not be paid content that affects the abilities of characters, weapons or items. 

Examples of paid content include:

• Premium Battle Pass (upgrades battle pass rewards)
• Weapon and item skins
• Character skins
• Cosmetic items such as emotes, stamps, and banners
• Instant character unlocks (also unlockable through normal gameplay)
• The Special Supporter Edition
