Choice Provisions has announced that it will hold a Kickstarter to fund the release of BIT.TRIP RERUNNER for the Nintendo Switch 2. The release date of the campaign and its funding goal are currently unknown.
On the Kickstarter, Choice Provisions explains the need for the campaign: “BIT.TRIP RERUNNER is real, playable, and already out in the world. Getting it onto Nintendo Switch 2 isn’t a simple port. It takes platform-specific engineering, performance tuning, certification, and the care required to make it feel right on Nintendo hardware. This Kickstarter funds the Nintendo Switch 2 version of BIT.TRIP RERUNNER. This isn’t about starting from scratch. It’s about bringing RERUNNER home.”
