Marvelous and G-MODE have announced that The Thousand Noble Musketeers: Rhodoknight has been delayed to June 25 for Nintendo Switch in Japan. The game was originally planned to release on February 26.
According to translations provided by staff writer Ryuji, the developers noted that the porting process for the Nintendo Switch version of The Thousand Noble Musketeers: Rhodoknight has proved more challenging than initially anticipated, resulting in the game being delayed for more development time. As compensation for the delay, there will be complementary bonus items with the physical Standard and Limited Editions, including PALETONE A5-size illustration card and a new original short story.
The physical Standard Edition will cost 11,800 yen with a DVD with bonus animations. What’s more, a physical Limited Edition will cost 25,080 yen with a B5-size poster, acrylic board, and clear character cards. The product page reveals that Japanese retailers, including Stellaworks and Animate, will sell their own special editions with exclusive pre-order bonuses per retailer.
The Thousand Noble Musketeers: Rhodoknight will be sold digitally for 8,800 yen. Further, all mechanics from the mobile game are present in the Nintendo Switch version, and there will be a new Voice On/Off toggle, allowing players to select the character voices they want to hear in the game.
The game’s cast members include (character name romanizations are not confirmed):
- Shohei Komatsu as Baker
- Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Kiseru
- Yuichiro Umehara as Ieyasu
- Kazuyuki Okitsu as Benetta
- Takeo Otsuka as Carcanore
There’s no word on an official English localization at the time of this writing.
