City Connection has announced that FZ: Formation Z will release on May 21. It will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
A standard and limited physical edition will be available for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 exclusively in Japan. The latter includes a 1/250 “ABX-01 Ixpel Innocence” plastic figure kit, an early unlock code for the additional unit “R-9Aix Extra Arrow,” a download code for the official soundtrack, and a limited edition box. The prices for each are as follows:

- PlayStation 5 – 4,840 yen
- Switch 2 – 5,940 yen
- Limited Edition
- PlayStation 5 – 13,750 yen
- Switch 2 – 14,850 yen
