Kadokawa has announced that Demunyan and artist Daisuki Tansan’s FX Fighter Kurumi-chan (FX Senshi Kurumi-chan) manga will be getting an anime adaptation later this year. Additionally, Kadokawa also revealed a trailer alongside some key visuals.

Aina Suzuki will star as Kurumi Fukuga. Yuki Ogawa, known for his work on Mieruko-chan, is directing the anime at Passione. Kenta Ihara is writing and overseeing the series scripts. Kazuyuki Ueda is the character designer, and Takurō Iga is composing the music.

Demunyan and Daisuki first launched the manga in Kadokawa’s Comic Flapper magazine in February 2021. Kadokawa will release the ninth volume in Japan on January 22.

Lastly, here’s an overview of the story via the official website:

University student Kurumi Fukuga has finally fulfilled her long-held desire to start foreign exchange (FX) trading, motivated by recouping the 20 million yen her late mother lost in trading.

“I’ll easily make it back,” she thought, but the world she enters can become heaven or hell in an instant. Unrealized losses, loss-cutting, unstoppable fluctuations… but she still wants to buy, sell and make money!

With fellow FX addicts Mochiko, Mebuki and Yasuko along for the ride, the market heats up! Joy, despair, joy, despair — this is an endearing, yet slightly risky money game. Can Kurumi and her friends survive this turbulent world?
