Earlier today, Kadokawa revealed the first promotional video and key visual for Clevatess II – The King of Magical Beasts and the Legend of the False Hero. The announcement also revealed the anime’s July 2026 release window along with information on the staff and cast members.

The cast for the anime includes:
- Shūichirō Umeda as Rei
- Yurina Kikuchi as Mary Mary
- Tatsumaru Tachibana as Andrew
- Ryōta Suzuki as Tigel
- Hiromu Mineta as Leon
Kiyotaka Taguchi will once again be directing the anime at Lay-duce. Keigo Koyanagi is returning to handle the series scripts, and Souichirou Sako is once again the character designer and chief animation director. Additionally, Natsuko Kondou joins the team as the new sub-character designer and additional chief animation director. Nobuaki Nobusawa will also return as the music’s composer.
Iwahara launched the manga on the LINE Manga app in August 2020, and LINE Digital Frontier published the first compiled book volume physically on the day it launched. The eighth volume was released digitally on October 15, 2024. Months prior, Kadokawa serialized the manga on Comic Alive+ in April 2024. Further, Kadokawa will ship the manga’s seventh volume on March 28.
The anime’s first season premiered in July 2025 and consisted of 13 episodes. Fans can watch the anime in Dub or Sub on Crunchyroll. Lastly, here’s an overview of the anime, via the streaming service:
