The AnimeJapan staff have revealed the main key visual for AnimeJapan 2026, along with ticket information and the exhibitors list. AnimeJapan 2026 will be held from March 28 to March 31, 2026, and the event will follow a similar format to AnimeJapan 2025, with the first two days being reserved for business and the latter two days being open to the public.
Pre-sale for AnimeJapan 2026 premium tickets begin on January 16 at 20:00 JST through January 21 at 23:59 JST for 50,000 yen (tax included). Premium tickets include several benefits, including an original admission pass with the user’s photo, gacha merchandise, front seating for stage events, and so much more. Pre-sales for admission tickets with access to merchandise and stage events will be available from February 6 at 10:00 to February 24 at 23:59 JST for 2,500 yen. Same-day tickets at the date of the event’s opening will cost 300 yen more.
Alongside the new key visual, AnimeJapan confirmed that more than 120 exhibitors will participate in AnimeJapan 2026, including Good Smile Company, TBS, Netflix, Fate/Grand Order, Marvelous, MAPPA, Bandai Namco, Square Enix, Kadokawa, Toei Animation, Bushiroad, and much more. The stage schedule for AnimeJapan 2026 will be revealed on January 16 at 20:00 JST during the AnimeJapan KICKOFF 2026 livestream on YouTube.
The staff of AnimeJapan reported a new record for AnimeJapan 2025 attendance with 152,400 attendees across the public days. This is a 15% increase from AnimeJapan 2024. Last year’s event also beat the previous all-time record for 2018 at 152,331. AnimeJapan reported that 1 in 10 attendees came from overseas. AnimeJapan 2025 public days took place from March 22 to 23 at the Tokyo Big Sight Exhibition Center. The event had 116 booths, which is the highest in AnimeJapan’s history.
