The GA FES 2026 livestream has revealed a TV anime adaptation of Manimani Ononata’s Bōkensha License o Hakudatsusareta Ossan Dakedo, Manamusume ga Dekita node Nonbiri Jinsei o Ōkasuru (I Lost My Adventurer’s License, but It’s Fine Because I Have an Adorable Daughter Now) light novel series is in the works.
A new key visual for the I Lost My Adventurer’s License, but It’s Fine Because I Have an Adorable Daughter Now anime was released on the official X (formerly Twitter) account, and illustrator Fuzichoco shared a new illustration to celebrate the announcement.
Ononata first launched the story on the Let’s Be Novelists website in 2017 before being published by SB Creative’s GA Novel imprint in August 2018. The print releases include illustrations by Fuzichoco. Fumi Tadaura launched the manga adaptation of the light novel series on Square Enix’s Manga UP! service in November 2018. The series is being published in English on Comikey and Manga UP!.
