Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis will usher in 2026 with the Happy New Year: The Stallion of Good Fortune event, which is now live through January 28 at 5:59 p.m. PST. The event adds the new Yuffie-Exclusive Gear “Heirloom Kimono” and Sephiroth (Original)-Exclusive Gear “One with the Blade” in the Yuffie & Sephiroth (Original) Limit Break Draw.
What’s more, the Happy New Year: The Stallion of Good Fortune event lets Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis players collect Exchangeable Items to get the Sephiroth (Original)-exclusive weapon “Divine Steed Blade.” The event also features event-exclusive Memoria.
2026 kicks off with a bang for Final Fantasy VII, as the Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade are set to launch on January 22, 2026. Featuring the base game and the Episode INTERmission DLC featuring Yuffie Kisaragi, the Nintendo Switch 2 version includes a “Streamlined Progression” feature, giving players access to unlimited MP and HP, unlimited limit and ATB gauge during battles, 9,999 damage, easier weapon ability acquisition, and more. A demo is available now.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Remake Part 3 will release on Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S at a later date. These titles are part of Square Enix’s new multiplatform strategy, which sees the franchise finally head to more platforms outside PlayStation much sooner after their respective launches.
