Kingdom Season 6 Sequel Anime Announced

A new teaser trailer was released after the finale episode today.

Kingdom Season 6 ended with a teaser trailer for a sequel anime, which doesn’t have a release date yet. A new teaser visual for the Kingdom Season 6 sequel anime was also released.

Kingdom Season 6 premiered on October 4, and all 13 episodes are streaming on Crunchyroll

Ikimono-gakari performs the opening theme song “Ikite, Sansan (Live, Brilliantly).” Sora Tomonari performs the ending theme song “Hōkō (Roar)”

Kenichi Imaizumi directs the anime at Pierrot and Studio Signpost. Noboru Takagi handles series composition, Hisashi Abe is the character designer, and Hiroyuki Sawano and Kohta Yamamoto are the composers.

Yasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom manga launched in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump in 2006. The first volume of the Kingdom manga was made available physically and digitally in English on November 11, 2025.

Xin and Piao are war-orphans in the kingdom of Qin. They dream of proving themselves on the battlefield until the day Piao is captured by a minister. The boy manages to escape and return to his village, but he is badly injured. Xin then meets a mysterious youth who bears an eerie resemblance to Piao—a boy who will one day become emperor!
