Happinet has released a new trailer for the TV anime adaptation of Mitsuru Hattori’s Wash It All Away manga series featuring the ending theme song “Wakaba no Koro (Youthful Days)” by Natsumi Kiyoura.
Wash It All Away will premiere on January 5, 2026 on Tokyo MX, AT-X and d Anime Store, followed by ABC TV on January 7, BS Asahi on January 9, and SBS on January 10.
Yū. performs the opening theme song “Kirei (Beautiful/Clean).”
The anime’s cast includes:
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Wakana Kinme
- Shūichirō Umeda as Kyūshō Ishimochi
- Konomi Inagaki as Nairo Katakuchi
- Yoshino Aoyama as Kuriru Wakasagi
- Kento Shiraishi as Moruda Wakasagi
- Ami Koshimizu as Asami Yagara
- Wasabi Mizuta as Aji
Kenta Ōnishi directs the Wash It All Away anime at Okuru to Noboru. Tōko Machida oversees and writes the series scripts. Azuma Tozawa is designing the characters, and Eri Chichibu composes the anime’s music.

Hattori launched the manga in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine in July 2017, and the series ran until June 2023. Square Enix published a total of 11 compiled book volumes for the manga. Square Enix Manga & Books publishes the manga in English.
