Netmarble has launched a new update for Solo Leveling: ARISE featuring Fire-type Elemental Stacker, National Level Hunter, and SSR character Christopher Reed. Christopher wields mana-based powers, including the Foul Play skill that gathers mana for a powerful attack with a large magic sphere. His “Zero to a Hundred” Ultimate Skill unleashes a meteor-like ball of magic to devastate enemies.
Alongside Christopher Reed, the Solo Leveling: ARISE update introduces a restructuring of the game’s six classes (Fighter, Tank, Mage, Ranger, Assassin, Healer) into four function-based classes: Striker, Breaker, Supporter, and Elemental Stacker. Reed’s class, the Elemental Stacker, focuses on building up Elemental Overload effects on enemies along with some new combat mechanics: Elemental Accumulation and Overload Damage.
The update also introduces the Edge of Illusion and Dreams co-op mode, where two players can team up in real-time to take on stages via matchmaking or rooms with guildmates and friends. The difficulty increases as players progress, with higher difficulty stages featuring reductions in the bosses’ elemental weaknesses. It will be available in Hunter Mode.
Additional content includes the new growth feature Hunter Co-op Training, which allows players to enhance their stats through element and class-specific training. The update also adds Hidden Chapters 9 and 10 to the Main Story (Hard / Reverse Hard) and a new SSR Light-type weapon for Sung Jinwoo, the “Illusionblade.”
Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE is available now for PC via Microsoft Store and Steam, followed by PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2026. Final Weapon reviewed Solo Leveling: ARISE OVERDRIVE and gave it a 4/5 score, noting that the game has “many improvements across the board, including major gameplay tweaks and additions, a more immersive story mode structure, and the removal of gacha mechanics.”
Lastly, Solo Leveling: ARISE is available now for Android, iOS, and PC.
