The official website for the TV anime of Hitsuji Gondaira’s Mission: Yozakura Family manga series confirmed that Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 will premiere in April 2026. A new visual for Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 was revealed, and it was confirmed that Sakurazaka46 will perform the new opening theme song “What’s ‘KAZOKU’ (What’s ‘Family’).”
Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 will air on 28 MBS and TBS networks on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. JST during the “Nichigo” slot. Currently, the first season of Mission: Yozakura Family is streaming on Disney Plus and Hulu.
The anime’s cast includes:

Mirai Minato directed the anime’s first season and oversaw the series scripts at SILVER LINK. Mizuki Takahashi was the character designer and chief animation director, and Kōji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki were the music composers.
Gondaira launched Mission: Yozakura Family in 2019, and Shueisha publishes the manga series on MANGA Plus service. Yen Press is also publishing the manga series in print.
