Digital Eclipse have announced that the standard and deluxe physical editions of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection are available now. The Kollector’s Edition will release at a later date.

The base physical edition is available on PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch for $49.99. The Switch 2 version costs $59.99. The Xbox Series X|S standard edition is also available, albeit in a limited capacity. The deluxe edition features the Standard Edition plus a Steelbook, mini marquees, magnet, poster, lenticular card, arcade flyers and arcade cabinet cards. It costs $69.99 on Switch and PS5 and $79.99 on Switch 2. Both editions are available via several local and online retailers, including Atari’s website

‍The Legacy Kollection includes the following games:

  • Mortal Kombat II – 1993 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, 32X)
  • Mortal Kombat 3 – 1995 (Arcade, SNES, Genesis)
  • Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 – 1995 (Arcade, WaveNet Arcade, SNES)
  • Mortal Kombat Trilogy – 1996 (PlayStation)

  • Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance – 2002 (Game Boy Advance)
  • Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition – 2003 (Game Boy Advance)

Recently, Digital Eclipse announced that a beta testing the upcoming online lobby feature of Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection is available now on Steam. The feature, titled Online Arcade, will later release officially on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and later, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2. According to Digital Eclipse, the goal of the mode is to “replicate the experience of having a large group of players together in a personal arcade or game room.”

Lastly, Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection initially released on October 30 to mixed reviews. This is primarily due to several bugs, instances of input lag, and lack of features at launch. Digital Eclipse will likely release more updates for the game in the coming weeks.
