007 First Light will feature Lenny Kravitz as The Pirate King Bawma. The Grammy Award-winning musician portrays the leader of a powerful black-market arms network.
This is the first major appearance of Kravitz in a video game. He is providing both his voice and likeness for the character. Bawma will blur the lines between ally and adversary. His actions will be unpredictable, yet he will also supposedly be charismatic.
According to Kravitz, “He’s magnetic and unpredictable, there’s danger in him, but also heart and purpose. He’s not just a man with power; he is a man who has to fight for every inch of it. Bringing that energy into 007’s world felt incredible.”
007 First Light is an upcoming James Bond game developed by IO Interactive. The studio is most well-known for its Hitman franchise, a series of stealth games featuring unique mechanics.
