The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Game Magazine’s The Case Book of Arne (Arne no Jiken-bo) revealed a new teaser video and six new cast members. Additionally, it was revealed that Soraho Ina, who previously drew the game’s manga, will launch a manga adaptation of the anime’s episodes titled The Case Book of Arne: Memory of Blood on Bushiroad Works’ Comic Growl website on January 7.
The new cast members include:
- Hiroshi Naka as Gordon
- Reo Osanai as Diana
- Momoka Terasawa as Elise
- Rikuya Yasuda as Bernd
- Yūto Uemura as Heinz
- Kakeru Hatano as Kai
Previously announced cast members include:
- Mariya Ise as Luis Hartman
- Kōki Uchiyama as Arne Neuntöte
- Aimi Tanaka as young Arne Neuntöte
- Yuka Nukui as Lynn Reinweiss
- Yuki Sakakihara as Zisye
- Yūki Shin as Nachzehrer
- Yōko Hikasa as Amy
Keisuke Inoue, known for his work on My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!, is directing the anime at studio SILVER LINK. Inoue is also co-writing The Case Book of Arne with Murasaki, the game’s original scenario writer and producer. Akiko Satō is also designing the characters, and she’s also the chief animation director of the anime. What’s more, Yoshiaki Fujisawa is composing the music for the anime.
Sou performs the opening theme song “Q.E.D.” and singer-songwriter Watashi Kobayashi performs the ending theme song “Ningyō no Machi (Doll Town).”
Harumurasaki created The Case Book of Arne and launched it on Game Magazine’s website in November 2017. A manga adaptation was launched by Soraho Ina in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene magazine in 2018. Thus far, Kadokawa has published four compiled book volumes of the manga series.
The game’s story focuses on the partnership between vampire detective Arne Neuntöte and Lynn Reinweiss, the daughter of a noble family who loves vampires. The pair investigates murder cases that may or may not involve vampires.
