The official website for the TV anime adaptation of Rocket Shokai and Nakashima723’s Scum of the Brave manga series announced the anime’s January 10, 2026, premiere and continuous two-cour run. A new trailer was also released, confirming that TOOBOE performs the opening theme song “Gun Powder,” and Mulasaki Ima performs the ending theme song “Mental Rental.”
The Scum of the Brave anime will air with a two-cour run with new breaks on NTV and affiliate channels on January 10, 2026 at 24:55 JST, or January 11 at 12:55 JST. d Anime Store and Hulu will also stream the anime.

- Yumiri Hanamori as Sara Kashiwagi Pendragon

Shinji Ushiro directs the anime at OLM. Yoichi Kato writes and oversees the series scripts, Rika Murakami is the character designer, and Kenichiro Suehiro composes the music.

Rocket Shokai launched the story on the Kakuyomu website in February 2016, and the series is being republished into a revised novel format with illustrations by toi8. The manga adaptation launched in 2018 on LEED Publishing’s Comic Border service.
