Kadokawa has announced a TV anime adaptation of Sword Art Online author Reki Kawahara’s Demons’ Crest novel series is in the works. To celebrate the announcement of the anime, Demons’ Crest novel illustrator Yukiko Horiguchi drew a new illustration. Kadokawa will reveal more details about the anime at a later date.
Kawahara launched the series in November 2022, and Kadokawa will release the novel’s fourth volume on December 10. What’s more, Yen Press publishes the novel series in English.
Scriptwriter Koroku Takano and artist Tomoe launched a vertical-scrolling manga adaptation in WIT Studio’s HykeComic manga service in November 22. Kadokawa released the manga’s first compiled book volume in June 2024.
