NEOWIZ and Wonder Potion return to the dystopian universe of SANABI nearly two years after the game’s launch with SANABI: A Haunted Day, a new free expansion launching on November 27 for PC via Steam. The expansion will come to the Nintendo Switch version of SANABI at a later date.
SANABI: A Haunted Day takes place prior to the events of the base game and focuses on Major Song during her time at Uigeumbu No. 12. She follows a lead into a treacherous scrapyard, and the story unfolds with eight new stages and two new boss fights. The DLC’s gameplay and combat places emphasis on recoverable jumps and the potency of Song’s shotgun for aerial maneuvers, unlike the grappling mechanics of the base game.
“It feels good to revisit the world we built in SANABI through the eyes of Major Song, and we hope this free expanded content brings a fresh and fun experience that resonates with our community,” said Yoo Seung-Hyun, CEO, Wonder Potion. “We planned for short episodes around the Brigadier General, but we left the base game in a tightly structured place with a closed ending. By revisiting some of the fan favorite characters, we hope to give players additional stories to cherish and expand the universe beyond our original plans.”
You can follow SANABI: A Haunted Day closely on the game’s official X (formerly Twitter) and Discord pages.
