Sony Interactive Entertainment and Arc System Works announced that MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls will be getting a second closed beta test on December 5. The beta will be available from December 5 at 12:00 a.m. PST to December 7 at 11:59 p.m. PST on PlayStation 5. This beta will feature new characters, stages, and improvements from the previous one, which will be shared closer to the beta’s release date.

Alongside the characters from the first MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls closed beta, Spider-Man and Ghost Rider will also be playable. With them, two new stages are also coming, Savage Land and the X-Mansion. Updates including balance changes, improvements, optimizations, and visuals, are also coming and will be shared as we approach the beta.

The beta will be playable continuously (unless server maintenance is needed) for 72 hours, from December 5 at midnight to December 7 at 11:59 PM (PT). CPU Battle and online matches will be available on December 5 and 6, while December 7 will only have online matches. All players who participated in the last beta will automatically be registered, so keep an eye out for invitation emails. Players who signed up but didn’t participate in the previous one should also keep an eye out for emails.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is being developed by Arc System Works in cooperation with Marvel Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment. The new fighting game is set to release in 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
