Ahead of launch, free-to-play open world adventure RPG Where Winds Meet has surpassed 7 million pre-registrations worldwide. To celebrate the 7 million pre-registrations milestone, all Where Winds Meet players will receive two pre-registration in-game gift packages, the “Patron of Winds” title, and 500 Echo Jades.
What’s more, NetEase Games and developer Everstone Studio confirmed that pre-downloads for Where Winds Meet begins November 12 at 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 p.m. GMT / 11:00 p.m. CET. What’s more, Everstone Studio teased “substantial launch rewards,” including three exclusive outfits and “a variety of other cosmetic items,” via PlayStation Blog.
In Where Winds Meet, players will embark on a journey as a mysterious swordsman navigating throughout China during the Northern Song Dynasty. Various decisions must be made by the swordsman to determine his role in the ongoing conflict. The protagonist has several roles to choose from such as doctor, merchant, or wanderer.
Where Winds Meet launches on November 14 for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store in the west. A pre-order bundle is available in the PlayStation Store before launch for $14.99. The bundle includes the following items：
- In-game Appearance Set: Appearance Custom Pack x1
- In-game Name Card: Astral Trail Name Card Background x1
- In-game Common Currency: Coin x10,000
- In-game Draw Token: Lingering Melody x2
Lastly, Where Winds Meet first launched on December 27, 2024 for PC in China, followed by the Android and iOS versions on January 9, 2025.
