Crunchyroll is now streaming the bonus episode of Natsume’s Book of Friends Season 7, also known as Natsume Yūjin-Chō Shichi. The bonus episode for Natsume’s Book of Friends Season 7 is titled The Outstretched Hand,” and fans can watch the episode with English sub and English dub options. Previously, this episode was exclusive to the 5th Blu-ray and DVD release for the seventh season, which released on April 23 in Japan.
Following the Blu-ray’s release, Bushiroad Japan launched Natsume Yuujin-chou: Hazuki no Shirushi, the adventure game adaptation based off the Natsume’s Book of Friends manga series, on June 5 in Japan. A special limited-quantity edition was sold featuring a Nyanko-sensei pen case, 4 pin badges, a special A3-sized poster, a postcard book, a signed bromide, and finally, a Weiß Schwarz PR card from Bushiroad’s trading card game series. All the items are packed in a special box featuring the same illustration depicted on the A3 poster.
Natsume Yuujin-chou: Hazuki no Shirushi is an adventure game that allows players to experience a summer vacation in the world of Natsume’s Book of Friends. As the main character, Takashi Natsume, players will be able to do various activities over the course of their summer vacation month.
The Natsume’s Book of Friends series follows Natsume, an orphan boy in his late teens who can perceive and combat youkai. One day, Takashi finds a very old notebook left by his late maternal grandmother Reiko Natsume, an exorcist who possessed strong spiritual powers. The series has seen multiple adaptations into various mediums, including films, drama CDs, and the aforementioned anime.
