Nintendo has released the new “Survive” trailer for Metroid Prime 4: Beyond to preview more gameplay and cutscenes from the first-person shooter. As shown in the trailer, Metroid Prime 4: Beyond players take on the role of Samus Aran on Viewros, a mysterious planet once inhabited by an ancient race.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond launches on December 4 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. New Metroid Prime 4: Beyond Samus and Vi-O-La amiibo will release on November 6, followed by the launch of the Sylux amiibo alongside the game on December 4.
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond was showcased at the April 2 Nintendo Direct, which revealed the game’s Nintendo Switch 2 Edition version. Metroid Prime 4: Beyond – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will include two different graphics options, Quality Mode and Performance Mode, which output at 4K 60 FPS and 1080p 120 FPS, respectively. Both of these modes will support HDR, and there’s even the option to play with mouse controls with Joy-Con 2.
